BSc. Computing
Overview
The Bachelor of Science in Computing (abbreviated BSc. Computing) is a type of bachelor's degree, usually awarded after three or four years of collegiate study in computing, but possibly awarded in fewer years depending on factors such as an institution's course requirements and academic calendar. In some cases it can be awarded in five years. In general, this degree program emphasize the mathematical and theoretical foundations of computing.
Student Outcomes
Our Programs were developed with the following Student Learning Outcomes in mind. At the end of this program, students should be able to:
- Analyze a complex computing problem and apply principles of computing and other relevant disciplines to identify solutions.
- Design, implement, and evaluate a computing-based solution to meet a given set of computing requirements in the context of the program’s discipline.
- Communicate effectively in a variety of professional contexts.
- Recognize professional responsibilities and make informed judgments in computing practice based on legal and ethical principles.
- Function effectively as a member or leader of a team engaged in activities appropriate to the program’s discipline.

Entry Requirements
5 CSEC/GCE O-Level passes inclusive of English Language and Mathematics at grade 1, 2 and 3 (from June 1998) or GCE O-Level passes at A, B or C or equivalent. Candidates are required to pass an aptitude test scheduled for December 16- 17, 2017 (for Early Bird applicants) and February 17-18, 2018 (for Regular applicants). An interview may be required.
