Specific Objective

Student leaders will be able to:

1. Exhibit the attributes of a UTech Knight refer to the Graduate Attribute Policy
2. Define purpose and passion in leadership role
3. Demonstrate an understanding of diversity in achieving successful team performance
4.  Exhibit accepted business etiquette practices and social graces
5. Show an awareness of the UTech’ s Core values in all areas of student life
6. Demonstrate good crisis management skills
7. Demonstrate good oral and written communication skills.
8. Display mindfulness

Outcomes:

Student leaders are able to:

•       Demonstrate awareness for diversity in the daily conduct of roles and responsibilities
•       Exhibit accepted business etiquette practices and knowledge of social graces
•       Be aware of their purpose and passion according to their leadership role
•       Display an understanding of the governance framework and their role in contributing to an environment with a high standard of ethical conduct.
•       Appreciate UTech’ s core values and how they drive the University’s modus operandi and contribute to nation building.
•       Learn best practices in good crisis management.
•       Acquire effective oral and written communication skills.
