he annual Community Service Conference hosted by the Division of Community Service and Development formed an integral component in the Week
of Welcome orientation programme. It is intended to introduce first year students to the University’s mandatory Community Service Programme
(CSP 1001) to promote community service volunteerism and an heightened awareness among students of social and developmental issues in their
immediate communities and beyond. The 2017 conference was held on Thursday, August 24, 2017 at the Alfred Sangster auditorium, Papine campus
under the theme,
“RAISE IT – Creating a Positive Change Through Volunteerism.”
