T
he Heads of Agreement between the Government of Jamaica and the University of Technology, Jamaica Academic Staff Union (UTASU) was concluded
and formally signed by all relevant parties on May 12, 2017. The Agreement pertains to the period April 1, 2015 and March 31, 2017.
The UTASU Heads of Agreement which has now been signed by senior Government officials from the Ministry of Education, Youth and Information and the
Ministry of Finance and the Public Service set out benefits, allowances and procedures applicable to academic staff at the University.
