Tips on Moderating a Session
Preparation
- Find a comfortable place with a suitable background and no distractions.
- Before your first session visit ➙ Creating BbC Sessions.
- Ensure your webcam and microphone is working. For best results, use headphones with a built-in microphone.
In Session
- Be sure to join the session 10 – 15 minutes prior to the start.
- Setup your audio and video when you first join a session. (For a better experience, leave microphones turned off until you need to speak).
- Start Session Recording if necessary.
- Use Collaborate Tools to engage students during the session.
- Remember that running other applications on your computer can slow your connection to the session.
