Employment Empowerment Sessions
At this point, the worry of many students is that they are not yet ready to embark on their adventures in the world of work. With that in mind, the Career and Placement Unit in collaboration with the Self Access Learning Centre host a series of Employment Empowerment Sessions each semester. These are geared toward final year students and those who will be participating in Cooperative Education as a part of their programme.
The sessions are held prior to Job Fair in Semesters I and II. The topics covered at the sessions include and are not limited to:
- Financial Planning
- Professionalism
- Entrepreneurship
- Résumé
- Cover Letter
- Interviewing Techniques
- Career Exploration
- Steps in building a Portfolio

- Fourth Year Students
- Final year/Finalizing students
- First to Third Year Students scheduled to do Cooperative Education (Internship).
However, all students are welcomed to participate.
