1. Five passes at CXC General Proficiency with grades at 1&11 (Grade 111 as of 1998) or CSEC or at GCE ‘O’ Level, with grades at A, B or C in English language, Mathematics, Biology/Human and Social Biology and Chemistry. One other pass at the CXC general proficiency or CSEC or GCE ‘O’ Level in an advanced subject*.
2. Attendance at a panel interview is required for all selected applicants.
3. The compulsory subjects should be obtained in no more than two sittings. Candidates with other types of academic qualifications will be evaluated in accordance with the University’s regulations governing academic equivalence.
4. *Clothing & Textile, Home Management, Religious Education, Office Procedure, Principle of Business, Typing and Shorthand are NOT considered approved subjects for matriculation.
