Pyridyl Thiazole and (Thio)Amide Pincer Ligands versus Di-2-pyridyl Ketone Hydrazones" the European journal, Chemistry Select Mr. Andray Lawrence Senior Appointment Data Protection Officer Faculty of Science and Sport (FOSS) lecturers publish in European Journal Dr. Kemmoy Lattibeaudiere, Lecturer, School of Natural and Applied Sciences, was invited to conduct research in the summer of 2023 at the laboratory Inserm, UMR-S1180 “Signalisation et physiopathologie cardiovasculaire” at the Université Paris-Saclay in Orsay, FRANCE. He is a participant in a collaborative research project funded by a European Union Research and Innovation Staff Exchange (RISE) grant “MILEAGE” (Micronutrients in Life Expectancy and Ageing: H2020-RISE 2016-734931). Dr. Lattibeaudiere has been doing research on the effects of Zinc on inflammatory responses – specifically he is looking at the therapeutic and prophylactic impacts of Zinc supplements on myocarditis and pericarditis. The research (Université Paris-Saclay) will underscore the signalling role of calcium in cardiac physiology, along with its potential therapeutic applications in cardiovascular diseases. He will also be introduced to novel techniques for monitoring the electrophysiology of cardiac cells.
