VOICES Bi-Monthly Magazine of the University of Technology, Jamaica | August - September 2019 6 S cores of prospective students from high schools across Jamaica converged on the Papine Campus and at the Old Hospital Park in Montego Bay on Tuesday, September 24 and Friday, September 27, 2019 respectively for the annual University of Technology, Jamaica Open House, to learn more about the University’s academic programmes and services. Mr Hector Wheeler, Associate Vice President in his welcome to high school students, teachers and guidance counsellors said that “today we are showcasing all the courses within the faculties and colleges of UTech, Ja., please visit the booths pertaining to your area or areas of interest and ensure that you ask all the necessary questions concerning matriculation.” Mr. Wheeler also implored students to take advantage of the day’s free application process. In an interview with Voices Magazine on September 24 at the Alfred Sangster Auditorium, Zoe Dunn said that she came out to Open House to find out about the College of Business Management and looked forward to studying Business Administration at the University soon.
