27 October - December 2018 | VOICES Bi-Monthly Magazine of the University of Technology, Jamaica U Tech, Jamaica’s Centre for the Arts led the staging of the 60th Anniversary Musical Theatre Production dubbed ‘Long Distance’ on November 21, 2018 at the Alfred Sangster Auditorium, Papine Campus. The aptly titled production, scripted and directed by actress-playwright Gracia Thompson, depicted aspects of the institution’s history from inception and served to highlight its contribution to Jamaica’s social and economic development.
