Congratulations also to Mr. Eric Hosin, member of the Governance Committee of the University’s Council and CAST alumnus, on his award of the Order of Distinction in the Rank of Commander (CD) for his “contribution to the Insurance Industry. Mr. Hosin is President of the Guardian Group. The National Honours and Awards were presented by the Governor General at King’s House on National Heroes Day, October 16, 2018. Congratulations to UTech, Jamaica Knight Nesta Carter on winning gold in the 100 M in a time of 10.07 seconds at the 23rd CAC Games held in Barranquilla, Colombia in July 2018. Congratulations also to UTech, Jamaica Knight, O’Dayne Richards for his gold medal win and new games record of 21.02 m in the Shot-Putt event.
