27 April 2018 | VOICES Bi-Monthly Magazine of the University of Technology, Jamaica U niversity Registrar,Mrs.Mercedes Deane hosted the annual Registrar’s Dinner in honour of final year international students on April 5, 2018 at the Terra Nova All Suite Hotel. The fitting farewell soiree featured a mix of laughter-filled reflections by the departing international students on their time spent in Jamaica, interspersed with entertainment and a full course meal. In her welcome, the University Registrar implored the students to become good brand ambassadors for UTech, Jamaica in their home country. She also expressed hope that they would return to UTech, Jamaica to pursue further studies in the near future. President, Professor Stephen Vasciannie in his greetings encouraged the final year international students to share both their good experiences and their challenges so that these may be used to assist the University in improving future student experience.
