S T UD E NT F I NANC I NG The information contained herein represents a comprehensive policy guideline on matters of student financing for undergraduate students; to include information on fee payment require- ments as well as student related financial serv- ices offered by the University. Undergraduate students are required to comply with these pol- icy directives (below) and adhere to the attend- ing procedures; as outlined in this section of the Student Handbook. Please note that these policies and procedures are subject to change without notice. Please note that some of the fee payment procedures for graduate students vary from those for undergraduate students F E E S T R U C T U R E T H E E N R O L M E N T C O MM I T M E N T F E E ( E C F ) For the 2019/20 academic year, all students are required to make a mandatory Enrolment Com- mitment Fee (ECF) payment; in order to begin module selection each semester. The ECF is not an additional fee, instead it is a payment towards the overall cost for each semester and is non-refundable. The ECF is also non-transfer- rable from one academic year to the next except where students are approved for Leave of Absence; or Deferral as a newly admitted student. The ECF payment for 2019/20 is as follows: 1. New and Returning – Local Students- $28,000.00 2. New and Returning International Students – US$225.00 Once the ECF requirement is satisfied, students will be given the opportunity to select modules and are required to meet the minimum finan- cial clearance requirement of 55% of total cost; using one of the approved payment plan options.
