This pro- gram trains students to counsel their peers. Training is facilitated through lectures, discus- sions, exercises, and role plays. General coun- selling techniques are stressed, through special presentations on assertiveness, decision-mak- ing, referrals, crisis intervention, and substance abuse issues, among other activities.
