University of Technology, Jamaica 106 Figure 1 – Utilization Figure 1 compares the monthly changes in the utilization of the Medical Centre for the years 2018 and 2019. January, February, March, April, August, September, October and November all experienced over 900 visits in 2019 with the highest number of visits being in March (1398 visits); these are the months that the Medical Centre processes a large amount of student medicals. This peak pattern was similar for the same months in 2018 though the 2019 numbers are significantly higher. This was due to interdepartmental collaboration with Safety and Security to prevent ID processing without proof of completing the medical assessment.
