Figure 2 Figure 2 is a representation of the total number of staff and students to whom the nurses at the Medical Centre administered care from January to December throughout 2018. The service category with the highest frequency is nursing care. Walk-ins holds the second highest number with personal accidents third, diabetic education fourth and emergencies fifth. Grief Counselling In February of 2018, a grief counseling session was held with the roommate of a deceased student, Winston Haye. One session was also held in March with the student’s family. One important consideration is the stress factor associated with completing a university degree as stress amplifies illnesses in the body. This may have influenced the higher number of student cases.
