Accredited by the University Council of Jamaica (UCJ) ANNUAL REPORT 2018-2019 University of Technology, Jamaica 55 JAMECANN 2018 The 3rd Jamaican Medical Cannabis Integration Symposium (JAMECANN 2018) was held from July 5 to 6, 2018 at the Papine Campus under the theme, “Merging Science, Spirit and Business.” Community Service y A Health Fair was organized in collaboration with the College of Oral health sciences and Soroptimist International Kingston Club. y Mentoring of children at National Children’s home- every month. y Provided support for children and families with Type 1 diabetes mellitus in collaboration with diabetes association of Jamaica. y COHS Health Fair November 2018- University of Technology (assisted by several students) y Inservice Education presentation at the Spanish Town Hospital September 2018 y Inservice Education presentation at the Spanish Town Hospital March 2019 y COHS hosted its 2018 Health Fair on Thursday, November 22, 2018. Dr. Cliff Riley, Executive Director, Scientific Research Council (SRC) delivers the keynote address at the Opening Ceremony of the 3rd Jamaican Medical Cannabis Integration Symposium (JAMECANN 2018) on July 5, 2018 at the Shared Facilities Building, UTech, Jamaica Papine Campus.
