STUDENT DEMOGRAPHICS A C A D E M I C Y E A R 2 0 1 8 / 2 0 1 9 Accredited by the University Council of Jamaica (UCJ) ANNUAL REPORT 2018-2019 University of Technology, Jamaica 34 Chart 2 shows the percentage of international students in each college/faculty for A/Y 2018/19. The College of Health Science had the highest number of international students (35%) followed by the Faculty of the Built Environment with 32%. The School of Pharmacy had the highest contingent of international students ( 23%), followed by the Caribbean School of Architecture ( 20% ) and the School of Building and Land Management ( 12% ). Figure 29: Total # of International Students by Schools For the year under review, 48 (34%) of international students were on scholarships and the remaining 95 or 66% were privately funded. Trinidad and Tobago had the highest number of sponsored students (36%), followed by St. Kitts & Nevis and St. Vincent and the Grenadines with 18% each.
